6/24/08) By letter,
I have requested the Joint Finance Committee (JFC) to immediately
remove funding for the RHD contract for the group home on Grubb Road
on the grounds that the no-bid contract is substantially above market
rates and is a wasteful expenditure of tax dollars. |

I have posted a copy of the lease
on the Dartmouth Woods group home that was signed in November between
Delaware Real Estate Venture, LLC, and Resources for Human Development,
Inc. |

Councilman Wiener and I requested information from the County on
the results of recent inspections of the Dartmouth Woods group home
and the violations that were uncovered. The
County's responses regarding the facility are detailed here.

received from DHSS copies of the contracts the State entered with
RHD for the Dartmouth Woods
and Grubb Rd group homes.
